TRAINING

Our Training Philosophy

Our training philosophy is aimed at university graduates, who are already well prepared in theory and know the fundamentals of science or engineering but lack the practical "how-to" information that can normally be acquired only through years of practical, on-the-job experience.

By acquiring this information in a short time, participants have a unique opportunity to learn how to solve and troubleshoot problems upon return to their workplace.

We constantly monitor and evaluate our courses in the listed areas of Technology & Engineering making sure that each course is relevant and beneficial and in line with the latest international standards. We recognize the need for participants to be competent and at the forefront of today's technology.

Our Firm is independent! We have no obligation to promote any proprietary products or services. This gives us the flexibility and opportunity to be openly selective in referring only those products, methods and services that we believe are best suited to help our clients to meet their objectives and goals.

Our Training Methodology

Our Firm is a private institution committed to the provision of continuing technical education at a professional level. We offer intensive, pragmatically-oriented courses that provide engineers and technical personnel a means of expanding their professional knowledge and keeping abreast of current developments and new methodologies in specific technical fields.

In addition to daily lectures most courses include involvement in demonstrations workshops, problem solving sessions laboratory sessions and site visits. With hands-on training we provide real-world experience by allowing trainees to get their hands directly on whatever they are learning, creating a sense of empowerment.

Participants have the opportunity to practice on working models, assemble and disassemble pumps, take actual shop measurements, carry out shaft alignment on full size working models and perform dynamic balancing, single and two plane on working model.

Audience

Our Firm offers highly structured short courses in Applied Industrial Technology, presented in an intensive format ranging in duration from two to five days. The courses are primarily on technical subjects at a post-graduate level and are designed for practicing scientists and engineers with a wide range of backgrounds but lacking in troubleshooting experience. They are practical in orientation, incorporating a minimum of theoretical material.

We assume that the participants either work at, or will shortly be working in, the technology covered, and are attending to obtain information of current practical application. It is also expected that the participants already have sufficient theoretical background in the field to understand the often-detailed practical information, and that they are highly motivated and able to absorb large amounts of information in a short period of time.

CONSULTING

 Maintenance & Reliability Consulting

Our approach is structured around the Deming Quality Cycle. More precisely our methodology includes the following steps:

  • Assessment of present situation

  • Setting Targets

  • Strategy development

  • Planning

  • Scheduling

  • Execution

  • Analysis and Improvement

Root Cause Failure Analysis

Our methodology for performing RCFA includes:

  • Defining the Problem

  • Investigate the problem

  • Identify Root Cause

  • Develop solutions

Adopting and Adapting of Best Practices

A best practice  is typically a documented practice used by the most respected, competitive, and profitable organizations. When implemented appropriately, it should improve performance and efficiency in a specific area.

"Best practice” is a relative term. To some it may be a routine or a standard practice; but to others, it may be a best practice because a current practice or method is not effective in producing the desired results. A best practice tends to spread throughout an industry after success has been demonstrated.

Best practices fall into two categories:

  • Managing the Maintenance Process

  • Executing the work

The former is concerned with managerial aspects and the latter in giving practical guidance on technical issues. We help our clients to implement these best practices by focusing on "What should be done" and then on "How it should be done".

What we can achieve with Best Practices?

  • Increase output with the same set of assets;

  • Reduce the need for capital replacements;

  • Reduce maintenance cost per unit;

  • Reduce total cost per unit of output;

  • Improve performance - cost, productivity, and safety;

  • Increase competitiveness;

  • Increase market share.

Predictive Maintenance Services

Our Predictive Maintenance Services rely on sophisticated and proven technologies to detect early signs of equipment wear. Our trained, experienced and professional staff provide expert advice, so your maintenance staff can proactively address conditions before they result in costly breakdowns.

  • Infrared Thermography

Infrared Thermography involves the use of a highly specialized “camera,” to create a thermal image that visually reveals infrared heat energy emitted by an object. Problems such as excessive mechanical wear, high resistance in electrical systems, thermal insulation deterioration, leakages, etc can be detected.

  • Vibration Analysis

Vibration analysis is an excellent condition-monitoring tool for rotating equipment to identify potential problems and decrease unscheduled downtime. Problems such as unbalance, defective bearings, misalignment, mechanical looseness can be identified at an early stage, thus giving enough time to maintenance personnel to proceed with corrective actions before breakdown.
